A. Packaging Specifications
Square-Bottom Double Bagging: All livestock is carefully packed in heavy-duty square-bottom double plastic bags saturated with medical-grade pure oxygen to prevent leaks and fin damage.
Insulated Polystyrene + Corrugated Cartons: Sealed inside thick polystyrene (styrofoam) export boxes fitted into outer corrugated export cartons for thermal insulation and impact resistance.
Actual Gross Box Weights: Freshwater Fish: 13–15 kg (Small, 4 bags) & 20–25 kg (Large/Special, 6 bags) | Marine Fish: 15–17 kg & 35–40 kg (Special) | Corals & Inverts: 15–25 kg per box.
Climate Packs & Route Buffering: Temperature-buffered with long-lasting heat packs for winter destinations or insulated ice gel packs for equatorial transit routes.
B. Death On Arrival (D.O.A.) Policy
Strict 24-Hour Reporting Window: D.O.A. must be formally reported within 24 hours after the shipment arrives at your destination airport. Reports sent past 24 hours cannot be accepted.
Credit Qualification (>5% F.O.B.): In general, there is no standard credit for minor mortality. Credit will be considered for verified cases where D.O.A. exceeds 5% of the total F.O.B. invoice value.
Photographic Proof Required: All claims must be accompanied by clear digital photos showing the deceased specimens inside the original, unopened, clipped bags.
Settlement: Approved D.O.A. credits are applied toward the commercial invoice of your subsequent consignment or resolved as agreed under our export terms.
